Group Progress Report

Group Progress report

What role is each group member assigned to in the group?

Sajid Ali:

Will be researching on what online education is and how it differs from a regular in school teaching environment. He will look up information online on reliable sources with up to date information that is true about the topic.

Tajmina Aakhi:

Will try to find whether or not online education is actually beneficial or just a waste of time, depending on the research she does about people who have taken online classes.

Hamza Malik Tariq:

Will find the pros, and cons of online education. He will try to find what may be beneficial for people who are interested in online education and how it could be a setback and not help person at all when he finally does decide to learn in a classroom and not in his own household. Depending on what he/she has learned.

Specific research:

Many people have tried to go through online education to get their degree but we want to find out if they have been successful in actually getting that degree. Some questions in mind are the level of difficulty compared to what a person learns in school and if the intellect one receives from actually having a face to face interaction and what somebody learns just by reading online. Our motive is to research and find as much information as we can which is true about the topic and not out dated or false. It's very important for people to understand if online education is right for them and if the level of education is as great as what one gets to learn in class. We will also talk to people who have taken their education online and hear how it has benefited them or effected them after they have transitioned into a real classroom environment.

Sources:

We will try to find information online from sources like Wikipedia and other online websites. Also books which have a connection with the topic at hand which is online education. Newspapers which almost always have data regarding online education.
